UK energy management platform Kaluza acquires Australia’s Beige Technologies

Key Points:

  • Kaluza has acquired Beige Technologies to bolster its capabilities in the commercial and industrial energy sector.

  • The acquisition supports Kaluza’s growth in the Asia-Pacific region and its commitment to a decentralised, cleaner energy system

UK-based energy software platform Kaluza has acquired Melbourne’s Beige Technologies to enhance its offerings for commercial and industrial (C&I) energy suppliers. Beige’s suite of tools—including Moose, for rapid solar and battery quoting, and Spider, an AI-driven billing reconciliation system—will be integrated into Kaluza’s platform to improve pricing, data orchestration, and risk management.

Kaluza CEO Melissa Gander stated that the acquisition accelerates the company’s expansion in the Asia-Pacific region and supports the transition to a cleaner, decentralised energy system. Beige’s Co-Founder Lee White noted that their technology, proven in Australia, is now poised for global deployment.

This move follows Kaluza’s recent $155 million investment partnership with AGL and a joint venture with Mitsubishi Corporation in Japan, reflecting its growing international momentum.
